After weeks of preparation, pouring everything they have into their first ever commercial collections, Grace and Gloria Mok (Mok Theorem) and Christopher Dobosz and Prea Jeffriess (Christopher Dobosz) took their fashion labels to a whole new level on Friday during RAFW’s New Generation Show at the Overseas Passenger Terminal.
In the hours before the show, the teams were backstage putting the finishing touches to the garments, briefing the models, and trying to keep their nerves in check….and in the hours after, there were high fives, hugs, tears of joy and relief, and lots of celebrating! We caught up with them to hear what it was like to see all their hard work come to fruition:
But as one show ends, another begins. This time, 100 Squared, Level 1, Westfield Sydney is the stage. Christopher Dobosz’ first ever retail collection will be available exclusively at 100 Squared for one month as of next week. Mok Theorem’s SS11/12 collection arrives in August, but don’t wait til then to head down as you can still find select pieces of previous collections and their sister label – White Euphoria – at 100 Squared today.
