Many of you are members as well as moderators of groups on Polyvore, so you know firsthand how great they are for exploring themes and hanging out with like-minded people. Whether you have a fascination with steampunk art and fashion or share a love for the TV show Glee, there’s a group for you. And if there isn’t one already, you can create it!
The secret sauce for making a group successful is to make sure it’s actively moderated. So in order to help members find groups that are interesting and relevant, we’re going to be deactivating ones that have had no activity in the last 30 days. If you moderate a group that is affected by this, you’ll receive a notification from us that your group will become inactive in 7 days. If you wish to save your group, there are some things you can do like submit a new set or create a contest in the group. However if within 7 days there is still no activity, your group will be removed. We hope that this change will make it easier for you to find active groups to participate in!
