One question we often hear asked is: what are the ingredients for a great Polyvore set? Good question. Using quality images is a key part of the secret sauce. When you do, your set is more likely to be highlighted on Polyvore, and if you embed larger set sizes on your blog, your set will be as beautiful as you intended even after being enlarged. We found that the three most common types of images that affect the quality of sets when overstretched are blocks of solid color, text clipped from other sites, and background embellishments. So, to address this and help you create great quality sets (at any size!), we’ve rolled out some new features in the editor:

Color Block Tool
You can now add any type of color at any size into your sets with the new color block tool in the editor. No need to clip or stretch out old color swatches.
New Fonts
We’ve added 21 new fonts to our text tool! Using fonts from our built-in tool will ensure that your sets look great at any size.
Embellishments
We’ve collected high resolution versions of popular embellishments and organized them into new categories to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for. Just search for the following categories in the editor search bar: Frames & Borders, Magazine Articles, and Magazine Images.
We’ll continue to provide you with great quality items to improve set quality so stay tuned for more updates in the editor!
