It’s officially been six months since Olympic fever swept the city, and while I’m glad to still be seeing the occasional “Canada”-emblazoned sweatshirt, it’s nice to have some other, less-obviously-reminiscent fashion options, too. Corrine Hunt co-designed the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic medals (which were stunning—I held moguls maven Jennifer Heil’s silver medal at a Birks event during the Games), and has now collaborated on a special collection of sunglasses for the brand Claudia Alan (claudiaalan.com).

Well first I’ll introduce myself a little! I’m Liz, mum of two, soon to be divorced and now living with my partner in sunny Brisbane. He works for The Gummint, I’m in the last year of a Diploma of Photoimaging and starting my small business, Red Boots Photographic. The two little monkeys in the photo are R & B our rotten, beautiful, infuriating, creative boys….not twins, worse….14 months apart. I was 19 and stupid, what can I say. Anyway, this blog is my umpteenth attempt to discipline myself enough to sit down for 15 minutes daily and write. I’ve always written stuff, but since I moved my creative focus to imaging I’ve kind of let it slide.

In January Beyonce told the press she wanted to take a six month break to do the things she had had no chance to do since her schedule was too busy. Now her vacation is over and she is again with us with a new single and Fall 2010 ad campaigns for her two fashion lines – Dereon and House of Dereon – the star runs with her mother Tina Knowles.
The 28-year-old Beyonce opted for a blonde biker chic for Dereon Fall 2010 Ad Campaign. She looks stunning and sexy in a number of outfits she wears for the photo shoot.
